My writing mission
I write engaging YA stories that speak to the soul. I also love adding humor (because who doesn’t like a dragon setting off exploding musical flowers at inopportune times? Actually, my characters don’t.)
My characters aren’t perfect. They explore their identity and value. They’re outsiders, searching for a place to belong. But they also grow, laugh, and occasionally fall in love.
My plots aren’t boring. They’re peppered with duels, chase scenes, and escape plots. My favorite types of stories are the ones that keep me turning pages and wondering what happens next, so those are the types of stories I try to write.
